The List: 2020 COVID19 Edition
In past years, the List was an annual compilation of 100 things that I've never done before (or haven't done recently), and want to accomplish. 2020 isn’t like past years. For starters, I didn’t post a list in early January, like I have in the past. Then, the COVID pandemic struck, and it’s clearly going to be sticking around for while. So, here we are, OCTOBER 2020, and I’m finally posting my list.
The 2020 List (or, more accurately Q4 2020 list) is 25 items instead of 100, and are mostly mostly pandemic-friendly. One item, a trip to Montreal, is very, very not-pandemic approved. And that’s because it’s an item I completed in Feb, prior to the widespread lockdowns and closures, but wanted to include it and write it up anyway because it was a great trip. There’s another “gimme” item on the list – my pandemic birthday that I celebrated in April – but I want to include that memorable day in my list as well. My blog, my rules! On top of the 2 items I’ve already completed, I’m aiming to check another 3 items off the list for a total of 5. It doesn’t sound like much, but geez, sometimes just getting out of bed and brushing my teeth feels like a lot in this bananas year.
The List was inspired by my friend MK, who has been list-making and list-tackling for nearly a decade. Thanks MK!
